Extension of Galbraith Avenue. —The extension of Galbraith avenue from its present blind end to Avonside drive was approved by the Christchurch City Council last evening. The length of the .extension will be about nine and a half chains and the cost of the roadway, including sewer and water supply, will be between £ISOO and £IBOO. i
