YOUTH FOUND SHOT
(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) DUNEDIN, December 27. The body of a 15-year-old youth, Gordon Malcolm Raymond Strathern, a farm hand employed by P. McDonnell on his dairy farm at Wakari, was found late this afternoon in a shed on the property. A single-barrelled shotgun was alongside the body. Strathern was a son of William Strathern. 184 Burke street, Invercargill. He had been engaged in hoeing docks until a few minutes before he was found dead. The cartridge in the gun was the last one left in the she.d.
