Confusion exists at present because Tainui and Darley streets are not clearly defined as to where one finishes and the other commences, reported the by-laws committee to the Christchurch City Council last evening. In order to make the position more satisteotory, the committee recommends that TaU nut street should run from Somerfleld street to where it meets the portion of parley street which runs at right angles to Barrington street; that Darley street be the name of the street running from Barrington street to its intersection with the new portion of Tainui street, and that Moana street be the name of the present portion of Tainui street which runs from Barringt<m street to where it meets the intersection of Tainui street The xecommendation was adopted,^
