DIXON—On May 2nd, 1936, at Sylverley, Duart road, Havelock North, Helen, youngest daughter of the late W. B. Dixon and Mrs Dixon. Interment took place at Havelock North Cemetery. GARDINER—At Carterton. Wairarapa, Agnes, wife of Captain T. J. Gardiner, and loved mother of Mrs A. P. King, of Fendalton; in her 82nd year. HILL—On May sth, at his residence, Southbridge. William Starr, beloved husband of Ellen Hill; aged 85 years. Private interment. HUGHEY—On May sth. at her residence. East belt. Rangiora, . Annie, widow of the late John Hughey; aged 74 years. KINSEY—On May sth, 1936, at his residence, "Warrimoo," 66 Papanui road, Christchurch, N.Z., Sir Joseph James Kinsey, Kt., dearly beloved husband of Sarah Ann Kinsey, and beloved father of Mrs W. Alexander Moore, of Timaru; in his 85th year. Private interment at Wellington. No flowers by request.
