Since Mr Leadley's return to the Dominion he has clone a great deal of public work, being a member of the Christchurch City Council and the North Canterbury Hospital Board, in which bodies he holds the position of chairman of the Reserves Committee, and chairman of the Finance Committee respectively. Mr Leadley's work on behalf of the returned soldiers is well and favourably known. 2s» one's record is better. Ho is stdnding as an antiSocialist candidate and is a strong advocate of fusion between the National ahd Reform Parties. .There is no doubt that Mr Lcadley would make an excellent member. Liberals in Avon will ho pleased to find that such valuable support is being given to the antiSocialist candidate. Any doubt as to what active Liberals in Avon should take should be removed by the article quoted. —0
