MRS HERRIES. (PRESS ASSOCIATIO.V TEL-GUAM.) AUCKLAND, May 1. A cable messago received locally states that Mrs Herrics, wife of Mr W. H. Herries, M.P., died on her way to England. Mtr and Mrs Herries left Wellington by tho lonic last month, and Mrs Herrics presumably died or. board, between Rio de Janeiro and Teneriffe. -*
The Timaru "Herald" records the death of Air. W. Harrison, the wellknown miller of Winchester, where he had resided for tho lost thirty years. For many years ho was foreman in charge tor the late M-r Inwocd, but on the death of the latter he became owner of the mill. Ho was highly respected and esteemed in the district. He leaves a widow and a eon and a daughter, both grown up.
