MR MARTIN CHAPMAN.

Mr Chapman, senior partner in the firm of Chapman and Tripp, was born in Wellington in the year 1t"46, and is a son of tho lato Mr Justice Onapman. His preliminary education was gainoJ in Melbourne, whence he went to_ London for its completion. In 1871 he was called to tho Bar of tins Inner Tomplo.
