MRS SKEVINGTON

Mrs Skevington, wife of Mr Oharle* Skevington, senior, of Waikuku, wher* she was well known and greatly re 6pected, died thero on Wednesday at th« ago of 76. Mr and Mrs Skevingtor were amoug the early 6cttlers, arrivinj by the ship Zealandia, and they walked with two of their children, from Christ, church to tho farm at Waikuku, anc pitched a tent near where tho home stead now stands.
