The adjourned meeting of the Board was held oa the 9ih met. Present—Meeere Orange, McDiarmid, York, Freeman, and J. b. Hopkins (Chftirman). Be accouate between the Heithcote Uoad Board and W oJβ ton Board, after a long diecnsaion it was resolved that the action of the Gastrin in be approved in having disputed accounts forwarded to the Selwyn County Council for eettlement. Mr McDiarmid voted against the resolution. Jfrom the Christchurch District Drainage Board, asking for a cheque for the amount of the rates collected. Besalved—That the C!erk acknowledge the letter, aad inform the Board that by next meeting the Beard hopa to have all rates collected and that a cheque will then be forwarded. Mr York on behalf cf the Works Committee, reported re footpath, Mardon street, end it was resolved that the action of the Works Committee be approved.
