Mr. Woledge has sold by auction the buddings lately so well known as the old Lyttelton Hospital, situated on Norwich Quay, to "Mr. Mutton for £32, the site being required for the extensive improvements going on in that part of the town for the entrance to the tunnel. The Hobart Town Mercury of the 18th reports : "Wheat may now be quoted at 6s per bushel. Oats 6s per bushel. Hay £5 to £6 for country pressed. Potatoes £6 to £6 10s per ton, bags included. Transactions have, however, been limited, and confined to local demand.
