(P.A.) DUNEDIN, Friday. The board of governors of the John McGlashan College has appointed Lieutenant-Colonel J. R. J. Conolly, D.5.0., to the position of headmaster of the college in succession to Mr. R. G. C. McNab, who resigned on receiving a British Government appointment in the Middle East. - . . Colonel Conolly, whose home is in the Paeroa district, spent some years before the war as a teacher in State schools in the Auckland Province, one appointment being at the Ngatea District High School. He has a particularly fine record in the teaching profession. He returned to the Dominion on furlough last April.
