NOTICE IN GAZETTE
The names of further men in the Northern Military District who have been ordered to report to the Army Department following their calling up under the National Service Emergency Regulations, 1940, appear in the current issue of the Gazette.
The following are required to report at the Drill Hall, Auckland, at 9 a.m. on November 27:—Leslie George Batten, theatre employee, 9, Edenvale Road, Mount Eden; Hector Howard Capil, barman, care of Victoria Hotel, Victoria Street, Auckland; John Thomas Casley, waterside worker, 8, Cameron Street, Heme Bay; Thomas Bertram Graham (occupation not stated), Luke Street, Otahuhu; Clarence John Henry Kelly, waterside worker, 263 or 311, New North Road, Kingsland; Edward William Keymer, waterside worker, 12, Wairoa Road, Birkenhead; Albert George Moore, postal messenger, 16, Horotutu Road, Green Lane; Frederick William Martindale (occupation not stated), care of Post Office, Auckland; William Osborne, seaman, care of Seamen's Mission, Sturdee Street, Auckland; Christopher David Reeves Palmer (occupation not stated), Parnell Fire Station, Auckland; Victor James Roy lance, motor driver, 36, Springfield Road, Auckland; Ernest Amis Charles Shreeve, grocery employee, 21, Nugent Street, Grafton; Charles Bryan Wilson (occupation not stated), care of Placement Officer, Auckland, or 46, Eden Terrace, Auckland; Arnold Kennedy Samuel Schlesinger, waterside worker, 23, Parr Road. Point Chevalier; Robert Melhuish Tidman, clerk, Walters Street, Takapuna.
Francis Sefton Mills, clerk, Box 28, Kaikohe, is to report at the Army Department, Whangarei, at 11 a.m. on November 28 for dispatch to camp.
To report at the Army Department, Hamilton, at 9 a.m. on November 25 are the following:—Alan Mervyn Belcher, gospel preacher, 6, King Street, Frankton Junction; George William Duncan (occupation not stated), care Auckland Farmers' Freezing Company, Horotiu; John Charles Kerlihy, drag-line operator, Kihikihi, via Te Awamutu; Leslie Selwyn Manhire, farm hand, care of Mr. G. Parish, Puahue, Te Awamutu; Raymond Dore Telford, barman, care of Alpha Hotel, Kihikihi. Service Overseas A further notice states that the following had been called up for service overseas following their conviction for failing to enrol under the National Service Emergency Regulations, 1940:— Charles Alfred Blair, labourer, Vermont Street, Birkdale; Don Molloy, butcher, 65, Wakefield Street, Auckland; Eric John Goodall, labourer, 126, Great South Road, Auckland; Colin Harcourt Sayers, factory hand, 27, Queen's Avenue, Mount Eden; Archie Malcolm Read, bushman, care of Tangyes Sawmill, Oruanui; William Hannay, share- | milker, care of J. Burrows, Paterangi Road, Ohaupo.
