WOMAN DIES IN HOSPITAL

Although conscious when discovered by her ! lste /' after four shots had been fired, Mrs. Rolfe was in a very serious condition when admitted to the hospital. Yesterday morning she lapsed into unconsciousness, her condition becoming critical. She failed to respond to treatment and never recovered consciousness. The city coroner, Mr. F. K. Hunt, b -M;., opened an inquest at 9 a.m Evidence of identification was given by Thomas Michael McGrath a brother-in-law of the deceased after which the proceedings were adjourned sine die. In yesterday's report of the tragedy it was stated that Mrs. Rolfe lived at 71, Vincent Street. This was incorrect, as Mrs. Rolfe had never lived at this address.
