ONE THOUSAND GUINEAS. SUCCESS OF ROCKFEL. ' Sir Hugo Ciinliffe-Owen's filly Rockfel, a daughter of this owner's Derby winner, Feletend, gave a fine staying performance to win the One Thousand Guineas at Newmarket oil April 29. Except at a point in the race two iiiilongH from home, when the second. Laughing Water, was racing by the winner'h wide, Rockfel emulated the Two Thousand Guineas winner, Pasch, by winning all the way. "Drawn No. 5, which is the favoured ejde of the coiu-ee, Rockfei dashed into the lead with Laughing Water clo»e at hand, while bu.li as Radiant, Ann pt Austria and Scotia's Glen were in that group about tw* inr three, lengths behind.
