MISSING FISHING PARTY. IN BOAT FOR FOUR DAYS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. A party of five Maoris, who set out by boat on a fishins: excursion on Friday night and were later reported missing, pulled into Paparore, a native settlement near Waipapakauri aerodrome, about nine o'clock last night. The men, who were well and quite unconcerned. were Marsh Penny, Mark Rarata, P. David, Tepene Heka and H. Kahui. The bcrat was last seen from Kaimaumau on. Friday, on the norther:: side of the entrance to the Awanui Harbour. She was seen standing to the north and it was assumed that the men were trying to find a good fishing ground. When they did not return the police were informed and a search was made from Mangonui along the coast line northwards, many settlers assisting the police party. The fishermen returned unaware that any anxiety had been felt for their safety.
