FINAL FIGURES.
MANUKAU ELECTION. MR. OSBORNE'S MAJORITY. INCREASED TO 4595. The final figures in connection with the recent Manukau by-election were announced to-<lav. Tliey are: — A. G. Osborne (Labour) . . 8503 F. W. Doiuge (National) 3998 The majority for Mr. Osborne is 4595. In the provisional count the figures were: Osborne 8241, Doidge 3830, giving the- former a majority of 4411. In the final count Mr. Osborne's figures have been increased by 352, and Mr. Doidge's figures by IGS. Mr. Osborne's majority is increased by 184.
At the by-election a total of 12,591 valid votes were polled, and 22 were rejected as informal.
