NEW LYNN MEMORIAL.
" GATEWAY DEDICATION." The official opening of the "Gateway of Remembrance," the New Lynn War Memorial, will take place at 3 p.m. °" Sunday, November 5. The memorial pateway is of brick, and stands at the corners' of Matai and Margah Avenues. Its cost was defrayed from a fund raised in the borough, under the direction of the Kev. W. P. Rankin. The Mayor of New Lynn. Mr. <">■ Lawson, will preside at the ceremony. The memorial will be dedicated by Mr. Rankin, a dedicatory prayer "ill be offered bv the Right Kev, 1). D. Scott, and the gate will be officially opened by Mr. W. Goodfcllow. The 'service will include the singing of selected hymns.
