Mr. A. M. Samuel, the, newly-elected member for Ohinemuri, is in town.
Mr. and Mrs. Newton King, of New Plymouth, are at the Grand Hotel. His Honor, the Chief Justice, Sir Robert Stout, is at Hotel Cargen. Sir John Findlay, who is at the Grand Hotel, was joined this morning by Lady Findlay, who arrived from Wellington.
Mr. Eric Ramsden. of the Newcastle "Sun," is at present in Auckland. He will return to Australia by the Niagara on Tuesday.
Recent arrivals at the Star Hotel are Mr. and Mrs. B. Clendon (Thames), and Messrs G. Booth (Christchurch), F. Brett (Frankton), G. Andrews (Hokianga), E. Christianson (Taumarunui), and E. X. Smith (Bay of Plenty). Grand Hotel guests include Messrs W. Reecc (Christchurch), V. R. Soutcr (Cambridge), A. Hannay (Paimerston North), J. Corncgar (Cambridge), and E. A. Caldow, A. J. Toxwood, J. M. Griffiths, W. Preedy, M. G. Myers and H Welsh (Wellington).
