WAR MEMORIAL UNVEILED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. Bishop Averill paid an episcopal visit to Hamilton this week-end. Yesterday morning at St. Peter's Church he unveiled a memorial tablet to the late Captain H. K. Sare, who died on the field of wounds received in action at Flers on September Iβ. 1916. His Lordehip aleo administered the rite of Confirmation to 35 candidates. A motor-car collision occurred on Saturday night. Lowry, a taxi driver,; was going on the bridge from the River j Road, when, to avoid running over a j woman, he pulled up and drew to one | j side. Another car, driven by a man named Nelson, dashed into Lowry's taxi. | Both cars were damaged. Nelson had I his head considerably cut, and was taken to the hospital. His wounds arc not serious, and he was not detained at the, institution.
