Information was received from Ohaeawai to-day that at a meeting of delegates of the Bay of Telands Reform League. Mt. George Wilkinson was selected aa Reform candidate for tbe Bay of Islands ee.-.t.
'Intern*! attaehrs to this decision in view of the fact that, Mr. Wilkinson and Mr. Vernon Reed are both standing as Reform candidates. Mr. Reed, though elected, three years ago as a Liberal, joined -Mr. Masscy- when the Mackenzie GoVernm—it came into office, and it was generally expected that he would have been tne selected Reform candidate.
