Lieut Priest was a keen Territorial and it was his ambition to enter the Indian Army after the war. Besides bis interest in the Territorials Lieut Priest was a member of tbe Little Akaloa Football Olub and a keen rifle shot, and was a member of tbe Chorlton Club. He was educated at the Boys High S.hoel, Christchurch, and was a sergemt in the school cadets, TROOPER A. 0. WAGHORN. Trooper A. G.
